Step inside Aruba’s oldest surviving building and explore the story of the island’s development.

Fort Zoutman was completed in 1798 to protect Oranjestad and later became home to Aruba’s Historical Museum. The adjoining Willem III Tower was added in 1868 and once served as both a lighthouse and public clock tower.
