The company village on the hill, still standing.

Seroe Colorado was built for the refinery staff on the high ground above the plant, and nothing else on Aruba looks remotely like it. Wide quiet streets, mature trees and low houses laid out by an oil company that expected to be here forever. It is a short drive up from the town and it is the part of San Nicolas that most surprises people.
